Quick Installation Guide – Bush Optics Window Shades

What’s in the Box

• Tailor-made insulated window shades
• Black slim line mounting plates with 3M adhesive
• Alcohol wipes for cleaning
• Instruction guide

1. Prep Your Windows

• Park in the shade; ambient temperature 21–28 °C is ideal
• Clean the glass with soapy water, rinse, and dry
• Wipe with supplied alcohol wipes to remove oils and residue
• Ensure the surface is completely dry

Proper surface prep = strong, long-lasting adhesion

2. Install the Mounting Plates

1. Peel the 3M liner from each plate
2. Align the magnet side of the plate with the corresponding spot on the window
3. Press firmly for 15–20 seconds

Pro Tip: Install top-row plates first, then bottom-row for easier alignment

3. Attach the Shades

• Hold the shade up to check size and orientation
• Let the magnets click into place on the plates
• Repeat for all windows

Your shades can be removed and reattached anytime without affecting the plates

4. Final Checks

• Leave shades installed for 24 hours before first removal
• Ensure all magnets are secure and aligned
• Maintain full use of your windows even when shades are off

Care & Maintenance

• Avoid bending & do not cut the shades
• Clean and store shades when not in use
• Spare plates included in case of accidental loss or adhesion issues
